results in an hour

In just under an hour from now I will find out the results of my recent MRI and blood tests. If the blood tests show that my prolactin levels have lowered then I can leave for Tanzania in May but if not we'll have to work out a different treatment and I'll have to postpone. Same goes for the MRI, if the tumor is bigger than thought then we may have to talk surgery. So...
please pray for positive results! :)

Well, I better get ready to go.

*Edit: After getting to the Endocrinologist's office I find out she's off sick today! oi! I'm just sick of not knowing. My appointment is now booked for Monday at 1:50.*

a good afternoon

Yesterday, Michelle and I went shopping for a Bridesmaid dress (she's in a wedding in September). We first went to Sophie's but that was a horrible experience... crappy dress selection above size 12 and horrible customer service. Then we headed to Ballett's. Completely different. We recieved immediate service from a sales girl who immediately knew what styles and types of material would be good for Michelle and they were in her size so she could actually try them on. (For those of you who don't know most shops carry size 8-12 and everyone else has to take a wild guess as to what will fit them... you can't even order them to try on in your size.) Within half an hour she had 3 really good options and we moved on to the Bridal Depot. We ended up finding the same dresses here as well and for the same price. The experience and service where ok but not exceptional. We then headed for lunch at Thai Sun. I've now brought both Michelle and Christina here. I really like it. It is by far the best new restaurant in the uptown square. (The Crepe place was a huge disappointment. I went there expecting an authentic crepery like I experieced in Quebec city many years ago... it was nothing like it... and it's overpriced).

Here are a few pics of Michelle and I at Thai Sun.

the past month

The past month has been a lot busier then expected.
I'm still trying to finish up a few freelance projects. I had a dinner fundraiser to plan and execute. Add to that doctor's appointments, friend's birthdays, me and my twin's birthdays, a new season of LOST, planning for the next few months, social outings, oh and facebook and blogging and you've got my February all locked up.

Yep, I did say blogging which doesn't make sense if you're just looking at this site. I also have another blog www.cynthiagoestoafrica.blogspot.com. Please check it out and while you're there please think about supporting me. :)

Thanks!
